Project Two: Constructing the Collage.

I began my construction with just over 300 photos. The 300 photos were selected from a pile of 600+ photos I had taken with my phone and camera.

Because the amount of photos I had were so overwhelming, I started by dividing the photos into piles containing similar imagery so that I could categorize them.

After categorizing the photos, I started placing them on the board into possible locations I would put each section of the photos. At this point, I was still unsure of how I would construct the image, and what would be the focus of the collage.

After much thought, I decided it was best to start with the images of the bridge.

Then I began working my way towards the lake.

After deciding how the base of the collage would look, I began deciding how the sky would look.

After deciding how the sky would look, I began construction the night version of the sky.

Finally, I figured how, and where I would place each part of the sky in the collage.
